Love this picture of the kids:) I used some Simple Stories "Life Documented" for this layout. and in place of the flowers, I layered some of their fabulous stickers. I love how this all worked together. The colors are great.
Lucy at My Sketch World has done it again! I love this two page sketch that I got to work with!
Here's my layout based on this sketch.
I had fun scrapbooking these 10 year old pictures of Katie and Molly decorating on Christmas tree. I sure miss having them around to help me this time of year.
Give this sketch a try-I'd love to see what you do with it!!
Starting December 3rd, there will be a fun Blog Hop going on over at My Sketch World. Start at their blog and follow along-it will eventually bring you to me!! There are prizes involved, including a little something from me!
Please play along-would love to hear from you!!

I've been VERY busy the past few weeks preparing LOTS of new kits for the Sweet Tooth store!! We had a big crop in October and just attended another one this past weekend and have a few kits left. They are in the store now and just ready to be ordered:)
Here is one using "Fresh Goods from "Pebbles" Loved working with this line.
This next one features paper from "Crate Paper"-perfect for those boy pictures!!
We're ready for Christmas at Sweet Tooth.
This first layout features a favorite line from Reminisce. I Love the colors:)
The next two layouts use "Hollyday" from American Crafts. "Here Comes Santa Claus" comes with a complete Thicker alpahbet-it's green and white gingham!!
Stop by the store and pick up some layouts or cards for you-or they would make perfect Christmas presents for those crafty people on your shopping list:)
I hope everyone had a wonderful Halloween! We had fun handing out candy to the little cuties who came to our door. We had quite a few this year-more than last, and almost ran out of candy! Millie and Nala sure enjoyed the kids and a few got to scratch Millie's ears. It's so funny how much they liked Millie-almost more than the candy!
Shelly and I had a great time at our crop a few weeks ago. I wish I had some pictures, but we're usually so busy running the crop, we don't take any:) I'm excited to say we have our spring dates set, March 2 and 3, same place!! Registration is open at Sweet Tooth
Speaking of Sweet Tooth:), I have two new Halloween layouts in the store. the first was created with "Nightfall", from American Crafts. I love the non-traditional Halloween colors.
The second layout was created using papers from "too cute to spook" from Bella Blvd. I LOVE the cute cut outs and the bright colors.
Aren't those little one-eyed creatures adorable!!
Thanks for stopping by!!
Reminisce has just released a fun new line called "Family Pride", and I had a lot of fun creating with it! I love the colors and the fact that you can use it for more than animal pictures. But it's fun for kid pictures, zoo pictures and so much more.
Here are a couple layouts I made with this line:
And I loved how I could use the giraffe letters from an older Reminisce line! I cut the giraffe out from one paper and added it to kraft cardstock.
And another:
Love the trees on the 12 x 12 sticker sheet that came with this line. Used even more older Reminisce sticker letters on this layout-from an older Easter line. I love how it all works together.
Check with your LSS and make sure they are carrying this fun, new line!
Thanks for looking!
Another great sketch from Lucy over at My Sketch World!!
Here's the sketch:
This has to be one of my favorite sketches of Lucy's. Here's what I did with it. I used some of Jillibeans "Dutch Mustard". I have to say that Jillibean is one of my favorite companies. I love the colors and designs-plus all the little extras.
This picture was taken at a Welcome party that was held at Legacy Point for my parents. One of the last times we were all together. I wish I'd taken a picture of just me and my dad. Still missing him so much a year later. A picture would have been so nice to have. So don't forget to take the everyday pictures, too.
Be sure to hop over to My Sketch World to see what the other ladies have done with the sketch. There are some fantastic layouts over there!
Wow! I've had a few busy weeks-in fact, a very busy month! Where did September go???? I do love this time of year-the colors, the smells (my scensty is going full force!) and of course, the candy corn!!
I spent a FUN weekend at the Mall of American with my favorite people from Reminisce!! at Archivers Scrapfest. Did I mention the FUN I had!! Here's a photo of some special people:)
We spent three FULL days, running the Make and Take booth-where the lines were SO long and very patient ladies and gentlemen waited over an hour at times to do our projects. Andria also had four classes each day (not Sunday) and I helped her Friday afternoon, with the layout class. Love those layouts! We were the hosts of a crop on Friday night and met some really nice ladies. Here's the young lady who won the huge door prize Reminisce gave out. wish I could remember her name. She was so sweet!
Oh and that's Shelly behind her:)
And here's a good picture of Shelly:) Someone should remind me to use a little bronzer or something! Is that how you spell bronzer?
Such a fun weekend. We topped it off with a yummy dinner at Chevy's and a few adult beverages:) Andria and Robin had to leave us early :(
Just this past weekend, I had the pleasure of seeing Lynne again:) No pictures from our crazy, busy weekend, but it sure was fun. She was taking some Vintaj classes in Galena, Il. and I was her taxi!! I got some uninterrupted scraping time and just relaxed.
Then back to Iowa City where we scrapped some more and she created some crazy cute stuff that you will have to wait to see. But check her blog out in a couple of days!!
And because I know you've been dying for an update on my turkey-turns out there's THREE of them!! (I know Lynne, you have lots more than me)
I know there's only two in this picture, but the other one is shy:)
Have a fantastic weeke everyone!! So glad the rain ahs stopped and the sun is shining-off to walk my Millie!!
As of last night, there were just a couple of spots left in my Scrapbook Basics class at The Scrapbooking Studio in Moline.
Here is a peek at one of the layouts:)
We are using papers from one of my favorite companies, Jillibean Soup! If this calss if for you-3 layouts for just NINE dollars!!, please call the studio at 309-736-7242. Would love to see you!!!!
With all the goings on with my family, I'm a few days late with the release of the newest layout kits from Sweet Tooth! But I think they are worth the wait.
First up, is a fun sports layout featuring the new "Making the Team" line from Bella Blvd.
I love the colors in this line-perfect for any sports team! Included in the kit is a fun sticker sheet full of sports themed phrases and icons. There will be leftovers from what you use with this kit! This kit is just $13 and is available now!
The next layout was created with the "Nightfall" line from American Crafts. They've done it again! Perfect for all your fun fall activities. This kit is just $15 and comes with a complete set of Thickers! Plenty left over for other layouts!
Be sure to check out Shellys cards while you're there. She used a gorgeous new line from Pebbles called "Fresh Goods"!
